Mariano Tan leads the TeleTech Government Solutions division. This group specializes in providing highly customized, secure, and scalable solutions to TeleTech’s public sector clients. Tan began his career in the late ‘80s working as a scientific analyst on contracts for the defense industry. Since then, he has worked as a technology and management consultant in the telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and automotive industries. His focus throughout his consulting career has been the development and implementation of marketing, customer service, and loyalty strategies, which he has delivered to more than 25 world-class companies. He has also implemented large-scale CRM and customer care and call management systems for more than 10 of those companies. Tan has published whitepapers on topics ranging from strategic initiative analysis to contact center operational improvement using speech analytics. He has lectured on these topics in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Japan.

Tan holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from California State University.

Paul Busch manages the financial planning and analysis for TeleTech Government Solutions to corporate management and clients, while ensuring compliance with government financial reporting requirements. He has over 20 years of experience in the public sector, including previous positions at Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and URS Corporation, where he managed project performance and financial planning and analysis for various types of government and commercial contracts. His work has encompassed the generation, analysis, and reporting of project schedules and work breakdown structures, as well as assisting corporate management with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and ensuring procurement compliance. Busch has worked with several government agencies, including the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Army Corp of Engineers, Department of Transportation, and Defense Contract Auditing Agency. He has considerable experience with government reporting tools, including the generation and submittal of contract funds status reports, cost performance reports, and cost/schedule status reports.

Busch holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in finance, from San Jose State University.

Kathleen Lear is responsible for contract management, client development, and business development for TeleTech Government Solutions’ clients. Prior to her five years with the company, she developed and managed business development channels at several global organizations, focusing on commercial, state, local, and federal client management.

Lear holds a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University.
